The purpose of this system is to collect data from several embedded devices on a network, to perform specific tasks over this data (like specific data analysis) and provide a user-friendly way to visualize and use the results. The Silverlight front-end implementation provides smooth user experience even when huge amounts of data need to be visualized. The specifics of the project required the implementation of several custom controls – including a custom chart control that allows visualization of series with more than 500k points each.
